Meanwhile, ASEAN has become China's largest trading partner, and economic and trade exchanges have become unprecedentedly close. Cross-border data flow is an important booster for China-ASEAN digital economy cooperation.
- To promote the prosperity of the data application ecosystem in the China-ASEAN region, Guangxi Beibu Gulf Big Data Exchange Center Co., Ltd. plans to initiate the establishment of the 'China-ASEAN Big Data Trading Industry Alliance' and hold the founding ceremony of the alliance on November 22, 2020, at the China-ASEAN Information Harbor Digital Silk Road Industry Cooperation Forum.
The China-ASEAN Big Data Trading Industry Alliance, under the guidance of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Big Data Development Bureau, is initiated by China-ASEAN Information Harbor Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Beibu Gulf Big Data Trading Center Co., Ltd. The alliance is formed by influential big data trading companies, data suppliers, data application companies, technology service companies, and related research institutions on a voluntary basis. The alliance aims to prosper the China-ASEAN big data trading ecosystem, follow policies issued by the Big Data Development Bureau and other departments, and promote the establishment of close production-sales relationships between big data product circulation companies and data suppliers, thus driving the prosperity of big data trading.
The China-ASEAN Big Data Trading Industry Alliance builds a collaborative platform integrating industry, academia, research, application, and investment, facilitating the service integration and knowledge sharing of big data trading industries between China and ASEAN. It aims to create a cooperative mechanism for information exchange, platform co-construction, and opportunity sharing among alliance members, effectively promoting cross-border innovation applications between China and ASEAN, and working with ecological partners to build a more diverse, innovative, and broad China-ASEAN big data trading ecosystem.
The alliance will primarily undertake the following tasks:
1.Hold forums and exchange activities irregularly to promote mutual trust and deep cooperation among members;
2.Operate data trading platforms and related technologies, promoting data trading applications among alliance members;
3.Conduct forward-looking research on major issues related to big data trading, such as technology, standards, markets, and policies, and regularly publish results (e.g., data standards, service rules, security norms, usage mechanisms, etc.);
4.Promote technological innovation and business model innovation in big data trading, drive deep applications of results across various industries, and foster industrial development and decision-making upgrades.
